Adult & Family Support Services – Long Island
Full-time: 40 hours/week
Responsibilities include overseeing staff in writing IHP goals and objectives that focus on increasing the consumer’s independence in the areas of daily living, community integration, recreation and leisure, and social skills; ensuring staff adherence to principles of applied behavior analysis in curricular and behavioral programming; providing guidance and supervision to staff; conducting written performance evaluations and developing and monitoring professional improvement plans; coordinating staff meetings and trainings; ensuring that operating standards and regulations of all governing bodies and funding sources are adhered to for all programs; developing budgets and submitting budget amendments.
Master’s degree in a relevant field (applicants with alternative qualifications may be considered at the discretion of the executive director). Three or more years’ experience in supervisory positions within a service setting for children and adults with autism/developmental disabilities. Knowledge and experience in applied behavior analysis.
