Development Associate

Department: Development Department - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time
Description:• Support the growth, development, and sustainability of the team and department in activities related to fundraising special events, annual fund direct response, individual and institutional major gift fundraising, grants, sponsorships, and special campaigns or initiatives. • Oversee a strong, effective, service-oriented fundraising operation and infrastructure including data and information management; prospect and donor relationship tracking; donor stewardship and accountability, including gift and pledge processing, donor acknowledgment, and recognition. • Maintains donor, prospect, and proposal information in Donor Perfect. • Implement the Eden II donor recognition and stewardship plan. • Provide input to the preparation of plans, budgets, and reports. • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Chief Development Officer, events, and special fundraising projects. • Provide clerical and administrative support to events and special fundraising projects as assigned. • Represent Eden II at community events as needed.

Communications Coordinator (Part Time)

Department: Development Department - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Part Time - 20 hours per week
Description:This position is part time (20 hours per week). The position’s major functions include (but are not limited to): Agency Brand, Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations • Lead the development of Eden II and Genesis Foundation’s marketing and communications plan, timeline, and budget; manage successful implementation and execution of the plan. • Create, produce, and disseminate printed and online publications, including, but not limited to brochures, newsletters, annual reports, events, and other collateral materials. • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts; manage production schedules with marketing and communications vendors. • Manage and coordinate creation and update of website and social media content. • Manage the Eden II media relations program including writing and distributing press releases and securing media placement for events and activities. Development/Fundraising-Related Marketing and Communications • Oversee the development of fundraising collateral material including the writing, designing, production, and distribution of case statements, direct response mechanisms, including direct mail, email, website, and social media. • Implement e-communications for donors and general public; manage e-communications database. Grant Writer and Administrator (Part Time)

Description:This position is part time (20 hours per week). The position’s major functions include (but are not limited to): • Develop a strategic, long-term grant plan and schedule/calendar for operational, special project, and   campaign grants; maintain grants tracking in Donor Perfect. • Identify, research, cultivate, solicit, and steward sources of public and private grant funding. • Prepare grant proposals, applications, and funding reports; coordinate delivery of proposal documents, including letters, proposals, budgets, and presentations. • Assist with proposal development for individual major gifts and planned gifts, and individual and institutional philanthropic support for special campaigns and initiatives. • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with government and foundation grant makers. • Lead the process to determine the scope, feasibility, and funding needs for programs, projects and operations; maintain current files on present and future programs and projects. • Represent Eden II at community events as needed.

Development Officer – (1) in Staten Island, (1) in Long Island

Department: Development Department - 1 Long Island and 1 Staten Island
Hours: Full Time for both positions
Description:

The position’s major functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Participate in the planning and goal setting for all fundraising activities of Eden II for assigned location.
  • Develop detailed strategies for all fundraising goals for assigned location; work with the CEO, Chief Development Officer, and volunteers to ensure fulfillment of those goals.
  • Work with fundraising staff to identify, qualify, engage, cultivate, and solicit individual, corporate, and foundation donors, sponsors, and government funders; prospective donors; and other constituencies interested in and affected by the Eden II – Long Island activities.
  • Manage own portfolio of select major and annual gift prospects and donors, granting agencies, and sponsors.
  • Represent Eden II to various community and related organizations.
  • Create and execute a strategy for a sustained base of annual individual donors.
  • Develop and track proposals and reports for all Long Island foundation and corporate fundraising.
  • Execute and oversee special events.

Chief Development Officer

Department: Development Department - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full time
Description:Major functions include but are not limited to: - Planning, implementation, and management of all the fund development activities of Eden II, the Genesis Foundation, and Eden II/Genesis Programs. - Develop overall goals and detailed strategies for all components of a comprehensive fundraising program, including the systems for evaluating and reporting on the impact and effectiveness of fundraising activities tied to those goals and objectives. - Manage fundraising activities of the CEO, development, and executive staff and volunteer leadership. - Manage own portfolio of select major gift prospects and donors, granting agencies and sponsors. - Participate in the development of marketing, communications and promotional plans to develop a strong public image for Eden II. - Develop and/or manage highly performing fundraising operations and infrastructure. - Prepare and administer budgets for the fundraising efforts.

Qualified Intellectual DIsabilities Professional/Vocational Coordinator

Department: Adult Program, Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time
Description:Work with all members of the interdisciplinary team to determine suitable programming for the participants on their caseload. Write individualized Habilitation Plans for all participants, which consist of behavioral objectives that focus on increasing the participant’s independence at program, at home and in the community in various areas of learning. Provide training for program staff on the implementation of the IHP and overall effective teaching strategies. Develop daily and weekly schedules to ensure that structured teaching sessions and other functional activities occur as specified in the IHP. Promote job readiness and help create new job opportunities.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field; prior experience with the developmentally disabled population; prior experience with job coaching; valid driver’s license with good history.

Seit Teacher

Clinical Coordinator – Diagnostic and Outreach Program

Department: Diagnostic and Outreach Center - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours and availability on weekday evenings
Description:Provides oversight of Behavior Technicians in the ABA Therapy Program under the supervision of the Program Director.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, Master’s preferred. Registered Behavior Technician Credential (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam eligible, BCBA preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience providing Behavior Analytic services to individuals with autism, experience with in-home services preferred.
