Behavior Analyst

Department: Diagnostic and Outreach Center - Long Island
Hours: various - part time hours
Description:Duties include but are not limited to: - Conduct initial ABA therapy assessments and develop ABA therapy plans for assigned clients - Complete/update ABA therapy treatment records for assigned clients - Ensure effectiveness of ABA therapy programs through initial training and regular supervision of Behavior Technicians - Maintain all professional certifications, licenses and liability insurance consistent with job qualifications - Other duties outlined in job description
Skill Needed: - Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field. - Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - NY State Licensed Behavior Analyst - Experience working with families of individuals with autism (parents and siblings) - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to use a variety of computer applications (MS Office products) - Professional Liability insurance in the amount of 1 mil per occurrence and 3 mil aggregate - Current National Provider Identifier (NPI) number - 3 years experience providing and supervising behavior analytic services to children and adolescents with autism in home and school settings and or day treatment and residential settings.    

Assistant Residence Manager

Department: Residential Program - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time - includes days/weekends/evenings
Description:Provide ongoing supervision, training, feedback to DSP’s. Serve as an expert and model in understanding of participants needs. Complete monthly/weekly/daily staffing schedules.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Human Services field; valid driver’s license with good driving history; prior experience working with people with disabilities – autism preferred; working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA); prior supervisory experience; excellent communication skills; working knowledge of MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; flexibility in schedule to assist when required.

Outreach Behavior Specialist

Department: Outreach Behavior Clinic - East Meadow, NY
Hours: Full Time
Description:Collaborate with team and provide behavioral support for students in an on-site behavior clinic.  Attend trainings and workshops related to educating individuals with autism.  Attend team meetings.  Collect student data.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or one year experience with supervision in an ABA Program. Proper fingerprint clearance.

Direct Support Professional/Clinic Liaison

Department: Residential - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time - 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
Description:Coordinate all clinic appointments with the Nurse and Residence Manager. Take participants to all clinic appointments. Complete documentation associated with all clinic visits/appointments. Direct care duties as required
Skill Needed: HS Diploma/GED Valid driver’s license with good driving history. Must meet all other DSP qualifications and have strong ability to successfully complete clinic appointments and interact with all healthcare professionals.

Group Leader

Department: Adult Program - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time Mon-Fri , 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Description:Work with all members of the interdisciplinary team to determine suitable programming.  Arrange schedules.  Supervise and teach assistants.  Demonstrate appropriate behavior management techniques and procedures.  Other duties outlined in JD.  
Skill Needed: High School Diploma/GAED.  Experience with autistic and/or autistic like adults.  Valid driver's license with good driving history.

Direct Support Professional

Hours: Full time, various shifts/hours
Description:Direct care which includes light housekeeping, cooking, ADL skills, meal preparation, community outings, appointments and laundry.  May require you to drive participants in the community.
Skill Needed: High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with good driving history. Must pass SCIP training, First Aid and CPR

Behavior Specialist

Department: Genesis School, East Meadow, NY
Hours: Full Time - 8:30 - 3:30
Description:Provide instructional services to students under general supervision of a certified teacher.  Requires working 1:1 with a student or multiple students at a time.
Skill Needed: Must have completed 18 credits towards meeting requirements of a AA or BA degree.  Must have Level 1 Teacher Assistant Certification or be in process of receiving it.  Must have strong planning and organizational skills as well as good math skills.  Also must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Proper fingerprint clearance.

Outreach Behavior Clinic Technician – Outreach Program

Department: Oureach Behavior Clinic - East Meadow, NY
Hours: Hourly/ Various
Description:Delivers ABA therapy according to an ABA Therapy plan that is developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Skill Needed: High School Diploma/GED; Minimum 500 hours providing ABA programs; able and willing to become a registered Behavior Technician or acquire RBT credentials within 3 months of hire; daily access to internet; maintain a high degree of professionalism and responsibility; willing and able to learn and master new ABA techniques and procedures; acceptable recommendation from current supervisor. Speech Therapist

Department: Preschool - Skyline Drive - Staten Island, NY and School - 150 Granite Ave
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm- Mon thru Fri
Description:Provide speech services to students on a 1:1 basis Complete all necessary paperwork including IEP’s, graphing, etc. Use of augmentative/alternative communication systems (AAC)
Skill Needed: Master’s Degree in a related field. Possess or qualify for NYS certification as Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Experience employing assistive technology and/or behavioral principles (ABA) CFY or Licensed Pathologist accepted Fingerprint Clearance - DOE/DOI

Special Ed Teacher – Outreach Behavior Clinic

Department: Outreach Behavior Clinic - East Meadow, NY
Hours: Hourly/Various
Description:To develop students IEP goals and behavior management plans in accordance with official mandates.  Implements and collects data on student’s goals and plans.  Supervise TA’s, Behavior Specialists, Interns.  Conduct in home visits and communicate with parents on an ongoing basis.
Skill Needed: NY State  Special Education Teaching Certification (Initial/Professional or Permanent). Must have fingerprint clearance. Must have training in applied behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorders. Strong planning and organizational skills.    Knowledge of classroom management.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Description:Responsible for overseeing many of the clinical services, as well as operational services for the participants within an assigned home. 
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field (Master’s preferred); at least 2 years’  experience working with individuals with autism and/or related developmental disabilities; working knowledge of applied behavior analysis preferred.

Per Diem Direct Support Professionals
