Direct Support Professional – Weekend Supervisor
Department: Dixon Avenue - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time - various weekend shifts
Description:
Responsible for supervision of DSP’s on shift and overall safety and well being of clients in the residential home.
Direct Care which includes light housekeeping, cooking, ADL skills, meal preparation, community outings, appointments, and laundry. May require you to drive participants in the community.
Skill Needed: HS Diploma.
Must have some supervisory experience as well as experience working with the developmentally disabled population.
A valid driver's license with good driving history.

Direct Support Professional
Department: Residential - Carlton Blvd, SI NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
Description:Direct care which includes light housekeeping, cooking, ADL skills, meal preparation, community outings, appointments and laundry. May require you to drive participants in the community. This position will have a stronger emphasis on housekeeping and cooking in addition to the other DSP requirements listed.

Day Hab Assistant
Department: Adult Program
Hours: Full Time
Description:Work with other staff, parents, case workers, etc. to determine suitable programming. Helps to establish vocational, recreational and volunteer work opportunitiess in an integrated community based setting. Transport consumers to and from job recreational sites. Assist teacher in classroom setting. May work 1 on 1 with a student. Collect data.

After School Van Drivers

Hours: Part-Time Afternoons
Description:Drive van for afterschool program. Van typically leaves at 5:00 pm and returns about 6:15 to 6:45pm.

Message from the Executive Director
Dear Friends,
I am now in my 30th year here at Eden II and I love my job! I started as a speech therapist and after several years, moved into the Director of Speech Services, the Director of Educational Services, and in 1995 became the Executive Director. I have enjoyed every position held along with the opportunity to come up with creative ways to help our students reach their goals.
I often reflect on my time here at Eden II and the reasons why it is such a great place to work. The number one reason for me is the commitment of our agency to the consumers we serve and their families. Decisions are made at every level with only one end goal in mind: Ensuring our participants and their families a good quality of life.
