Behavior Intervention Specialist

Department: Residential and Adult Programs - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full time - days/evenings/weekends
Description:Conduct functional assessments and develop behavior intervention plans to treat problem behavior.  Conduct/oversee staff training.  Collect and analyze behavior data.  Maintain clinical paperwork as regulated by state.  Assist in development of skill acquisition goals and reporting case progress to supervisors.
Skill Needed: Master’s Degree in an applied field of psychology (related fields may be considered).  BCBA preferred but not required.  5+ years’ experience developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans for individuals with disabilities and significant problem behavior.  Knowledge of ABA with documented training in assessment techniques and behavior intervention planning.

Behavior Technician

Department: Diagnostic and Outreach Center - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Part Time - flexible hours
Description:Delivers ABA therapy according to an ABA Therapy plan that is developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Skill Needed: Minimum 500 hours providing ABA programs OR Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field; able and willing to become a registered Behavior Technician or acquire RBT credentials within 3 months of hire; daily access to internet; maintain a high degree of professionalism and responsibility; willing and able to learn and master new ABA techniques and procedures;  available to work a minimum of 6 hours per week;  required fingerprints.

Direct Support Professional

Description:Direct Care which includes light housekeeping, cooking, ADL skills, meal preparation, community outings, appointments, and laundry.  May require you to drive participants in the community.
Skill Needed: HS Diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license with good driving history.  Must pass SCIP training, First Aid and CPR.

Physical Therapist

Department: Outreach Program - Long Island, NY
Hours: Part Time hours
Description:Assess students’ functional capabilities and home and/or classroom environment for the purpose of determining student’s functional level and develop recommendations and/or placement. Assess students’ gross motor and development skills for the purpose of determining their deficits and develop recommendations.

Behavior Analyst

Department: Diagnostic and Outreach Center - SI, NY
Hours: Hourly
Description:Conduct initial ABA therapy assessments for assigned clients; develop ABA therapy plans and complete therapy/treatment records for assigned clients; Ensure effectiveness of ABA programs through training/supervision/and conducting regular sessions. Skill Needed: Master’s Degree in ABA or related field. Current certification as BCBA NY State licensed Behavior Analyst 1+ year’s experience providing behavior analytic services to individuals with autism. Excellent written/oral communication skills. Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional – Residential Program

Department: Residential Program - Staten Island, NY

Description:Responsible for overseeing many of the clinical services as well as operational services for the participants within their assigned house.  Job Description outlines further details.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s degree within the human services field (Master’s Degree preferred). At least 2 year’s experience working with individuals with autism and/or related developmental disabilities. Working knowledge of applied behavior analysis preferred.

Day Hab Instructor

Department: Adult Program - Long Island
Hours: Full Time
Description:Help to establish vocational, recreational and volunteer work opportunities for participants; arrange daily classroom schedules and staff assignments; supervise and teach assistants, substitute staff and interns.
Skill Needed: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Valid driver’s license with good history.

Residential Manager – Long Island

Department: Cambon Residence - Full Time
Hours: Full Time
Description:Provide supervision to direct care staff; ensure staff is continually engaging consumers in structured learning activities; document on-going supervision and feedback given to direct care staff using supervisor observation records; coordinate schedules and participate in in-service meetings, staff meetings and other meetings upon request; administer medication – must be certified in SCIP-R, AMAP, First Aid and CPS; perform direct care duties as required; be available on an on-call basis as needed for consultation and relief.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field.  Very strong supervision and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Valid driver’s license in good standing.  Prior experience with the developmentally disabled (autism preferred).  Ability to be on-call 24/7.

IT Support Specialist

Department: IT Department - Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time
Description:Support and troubleshoot all IT systems and software across the agency.  Prioritize and address agency help desk tickets, provide support, training, and resolutions to all end users. Other duties outlined in job description.
Skill Needed: AA/AS degree in a computer related field is required plus 2 years of relevant experience; a BA BS degree in computer science or related discipline o combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of position. Requires valid driver’s license and travel to various locations. Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain all software applications and peripheral equipment used by agency.  Strong communication and training skills.  Ability to act independently to perform all duties efficiently and effectively.

Qualified Intellectual DIsabilities Professional – Adult Program

Department: Adult Program, Staten Island, NY
Hours: Full Time
Description:Work with all members of the interdisciplinary team to determine suitable programming for the participants on their caseload. Write individualized Habilitation Plans for all participants, which consist of behavioral objectives that focus on increasing the participant’s independence at program, at home and in the community in various areas of learning. Provide training for program staff on the implementation of the IHP and overall effective teaching strategies. Develop daily and weekly schedules to ensure that structured teaching sessions and other functional activities occur as specified in the IHP. Promote job readiness and help create new job opportunities.
Skill Needed: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field; prior experience with the developmentally disabled population; prior experience with job coaching; valid driver’s license with good history.

Behavior Analyst

Special Ed Teacher – Outreach Behavior Clinic

Department: Outreach Behavior Clinic - East Meadow, NY

Description:To develop students IEP goals and behavior management plans in accordance with official mandates.  Implements and collects data on student’s goals and plans.  Supervise TA’s, Behavior Specialists, Interns.  Conduct in home visits and communicate with parents on an ongoing basis.
Skill Needed: NY State  Special Education Teaching Certification (Initial/Professional or Permanent). Must have fingerprint clearance. Must have training in applied behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorders.
