School – Staten Island
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities include developing job opportunities and conducting visits to potential job sites within the community, bringing outside job sampling activities to the program, assisting students with performing jobs within the community and with community trips, implementing and collecting data on each student’s IEP goals and behavior management plan and conducting observation of students in vocational/recreation settings.
High school diploma. Must have completed at least 18 credits towards meeting the requirement of an associate or baccalaureate degree. Satisfactory employment of at least one year as a certified teaching assistant. Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
