Eden II Programs is pleased to announce the addition of 3 New Board Members! Barbara Maxwell is a community member. She retired after 29 years as an Agency owner & CEO of Maxwell Insurance Agency with Allstate Insurance Co. Mrs. Maxwell is a licensed agent and broker selling property, casualty, life and financial products. She is a member of the NASD. Mrs. Maxwell has volunteered at Seaview Hospital & Home as well as On Your Mark. Diagnostic & Outreach Center Serving Individuals on Staten Island, Webinars Reaching International Participants

In November of 2013, Eden II opened its Diagnostic & Outreach Center, located at 2285 Victory Blvd. in Staten Island. The center was opened to assist individuals who have autism and individuals who may have autism. Since its opening, the center has provided services to over 25 new individuals on the autism spectrum, including ABA Therapy, Diagnostic Evaluations and Speech Evaluations. The staff at the Diagnostic  Center have worked tirelessly to better serve participants on the spectrum, as well as their families. United Way Aids in Recovery of New School Building After Storm

Hurricane Sandy ripped through the borough on October 29th, 2012. The storm caused billions in damages to countless homes and businesses. 15 Beach Street was one of those buildings devastated by Sandy’s wrath. The future home of Eden II Programs, 15 Beach Street sustained damage to its elevator systems, as well as the basement. The building was formerly the home of Staten Island Savings Bank, and furniture from the bank had been stored in the basement. At the June meeting of Eden II Programs, the board of directors approved the addition of three new board members. Christina D. Thivierge is a co-founding partner and principal of Thivierge & Rothberg, P.C., a private law firm founded in 2008 in New York City that handles exclusively special education matters. From 2000 through 2008, Christina was the Senior Associate at a Mayerson & Associates, where she handled special education matters (primarily for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities).
