Eden II Programs is pleased to announce the addition of 3 New Board Members!

barbara (2)Barbara Maxwell is a community member. She retired after 29 years as an Agency owner & CEO of Maxwell Insurance Agency with Allstate Insurance Co. Mrs. Maxwell is a licensed agent and broker selling property, casualty, life and financial products. She is a member of the NASD. Mrs. Maxwell has volunteered at Seaview Hospital & Home as well as On Your Mark. She is a past board member of On Your Mark, a recreational program for autistic children and developmentally delayed adults. Mrs. Maxwell has hosted cook-outs and Christmas parties for autistic children in her home for several years.

Shanker Ramamurthy is a community member. Mr. Ramamurthy leads the Strategy and Analytics practice globally for IBM Global Business Services. Prior to this role, he spent close to three years with Thomson Reuters Corporation, initially as President of Financial Professional & Marketplaces. Mr. Ramamurthy delivered news, information, and analytics to trading, investing, financial, and corporate professionals. During the last two years, he created and built the successful Global Growth & Operations strategic business unit, a 7,000-person division created through the consolidation of all of the company’s businesses. Mr. Ramamurthy has lived or worked on six continents and in over 35 countries.

 

steveSteve Kirschbaum is a parent member. His son, Brandon, currently attends the Genesis School in Long Island. Mr. Kirschbaum is Vice President of Carlyle Catering, providing services to Carlyle on the Green at Bethpage State Park, The Palace in Plainview, The Omni Building, and off premise catering in the Hamptons, among other areas. His son entered the program in 2002, and Mr. Kirschbaum has worked tirelessly to help fund-raise to support the Genesis School ever since. For over six years he has served as the President of the Genesis PTO. Mr. Kirschbaum has successfully raised funds through Fight for Charity, Texas Hold’em events, and many other fundraisers. Mr. Kirschbaum’s work with Fight for Charity has helped Genesis raise a considerable amount of funding to help support its mission.
