Hi, my name is Meghan. I have autism and I am a participant at Eden II Programs. I would like to explain why bookshelves should be engraved in the Dr. Anthony Moretti Library at our Beach Street location.
At our new Beach Street location, many things such as benches, rooms and puzzle piece murals are named after people, foundations or companies. I feel as if the Dr. Anthony Moretti Library should have bookshelves engraved in honor of a student, teacher, or in memoriam of a loved one. It would not only benefit the library financially but it would enhance the appearance of the shelves as well as give lower cost opportunities to donors! Each bookshelf will cost $250 to engrave. It can be located anywhere in the library. If we can engrave puzzle pieces, benches and rooms, we can engrave bookshelves.
The Dr. Anthony Moretti Memorial Library is used for Basic Life Skills group, Creative Writing group, reading, and research. All of the books, movies, and games stay in the library!
The most important thing is that the Moretti family wanted to have this library named in memory of Dr. Anthony Moretti so kids at Eden II can go there every day and always remember him!
