The Eden II and Genesis Foundation will benefit from the 2012 “A Night at the Oscars” Dinner Dance and Auction Gala to be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island. This year’s honorees are Fred Ariemma, Enterprise Fleet Management, Joanne Gerenser, Gregg Iliceto, and John Titta. The evening will begin at 7pm with a silent auction and elegant cocktail hour followed by a gourmet dinner, dancing to Music to the Max, and a live auction. The evening’s festivities will begin at 7pm with a cocktail hour and silent auction with such great items as sports memorabilia, Manhattan getaways, Broadway show tickets, entertainment memorabilia, jewelry, and so much more. Some of the exciting live auction items up for bid are four tickets to the Jingle Ball Concert at Madison Square Garden, VIP tickets to the Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala, tickets to an after Oscars party in Manhattan, an autographed guitar by the Bon Jovi Band, and a table for four at Rao’s Restaurant in Manhattan. This gala promises to be an exciting evening with many celebrities in attendance including actors Danny Aiello, Linda Fiorentino, Richie Sambora, singers Melissa Dolittle, Gavin McGraw, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Duane Eddy, John Sterling, SNY commentator Ray Lucas and an exciting dance performance by the Iconic Boyz from MTV.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to Dr. Joanne Gerenser. Joanne is the Executive Director of the Eden II Programs, in honor of 30 years of dedicated service to Eden II. The Robert Ambery Memorial Award will be given to board member and Eden II Capital Campaign Chair Gregg Iliceto. The Heart of Gold Award will be given to music producer John Titta. The recipient of the Community Service Award is Fred Ariemma, owner of Ariemma’s Nursery. And the Corporate Leadership Award will be given to Enterprise Fleet Management.
