Eden II will be honoring two dedicated staff members at The Staten Island Not For Profit Association’s Community Service Awards on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Vanderbilt.

These awards were designed to offer their member organizations the opportunity to publicly recognize the outstanding work of the volunteers, staff, and Board members who do so much that directly benefits the non-profits and our community.

This year Shirley Dunn and Susan Ribaudo of the Eden II Programs were chosen to receive this award for their dedication and 20 years of service.

Shirley Dunn has been working for Eden II since 1992 and is the Director of Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance. Shirley’s responsibilities include the oversight of participant and staff safety systems, assessment of program quality and adherence to regulation, development and analysis of satisfaction surveys, corporate compliance, staff training and policy development. Shirley puts her heart into all she does for Eden II and therefore is a worthy recipient of this award.

Susan Ribaudo has also worked for the Eden II Programs since 1992 and is the Human Resources Manager. In this role she is responsible for the hiring of staff, and managing the benefits for all staff. Sue states that the HR Department has grown into a full service department with 5 full time staff to serve the needs of the Program. She is proud to hire competent staff to care for individuals with autism. Sue cares deeply about the children and adults with autism in our programs and is willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed and is so deserving of this award.
