Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Description

As per New York State Department of Education, teacher assistants provide instructional services to students under general supervision of a certified teacher. Requires working on a 1 to 1 basis with a student or with multiple students at a time.

Skills Needed

High school diploma. Must pass the New York State assessment of Teaching Assistant skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of classroom management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Pay Rate

$18.25 - $22.50 per hour
