Brendan has spent his career serving the Staten Island community and representing clients in a variety of important legal matters.
As Counsel at Menicucci Villa Cilmi PLLC, one of Staten Island‘s largest law firms, Brendan focuses primarily on civil litigation, including commercial and personal injury litigation, as well as election law matters and commercial and real estate transactions. He has also represented clients in complex medical malpractice actions and provided risk management counsel to hospitals, insurance carriers, and physicians throughout New York City. Within the past year, he has worked closely with local banks to disburse over $100 million in PPP loans to small businesses in the tri-state area.
Brendan is a former Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s office, where he successfully tried several Criminal and Supreme Court cases. During that time, Brendan worked with the late District Attorney Charles Hynes, as well as Senator Andrew Lanza and then-Assemblyman Matthew Titone, to make it a felony to assault a prosecutor in the State of New York. He also served as Counsel to former New York City Council Minority Leader Vincent M. Ignizio, Legislative Aide to Senator Andrew Lanza, and District Director to former Congressman Daniel M. Donovan, Jr.
Brendan received a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University – Tobin College of Business and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He is the former Chairman of the Staten Island Republican Party, Past President of the Staten Island Chapter of the St. John’s University School of Law Alumni Association, and he is a former member of the Advisory Board of the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund.
A lifelong Staten Islander, Brendan resides in Eltingville with his wife, Jessica.
