Jillian began her career in the area of autism and special education in 1998 when she worked as an Early Interventions Specialist and Parent Trainer. After being awarded her degree in Community and Human Services with a major in disability studies from SUNY ESC at Old Westbury, Jillian began her career at Eden II programs in 2003. Jillian has over 20 years of experience in the field and has held a number of positions including at Eden II including positions in both our Staten Island and Long Island locations. These positions include Medicaid Service Coordinator, Parent Trainer, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Coordinator of OPWDD Programs and Transitional Services on LI, and is currently the Director of Adult and Family Services on Long Island. Her contributions to the field of autism and developmental disabilities are significant with accomplishments in advocacy, participating in research and case studies, program development, and expansion meeting the needs of children and adults that currently attend Eden II/Genesis Programs as well as individuals living in the community. She is involved in numerous internal as well as external committees on both Long Island, NYC, and across New York State.
