Nakia Marshall has joined Eden II Programs as the new Director of Residential Services for Staten Island. Nakia began her career in social services as a DSP in the mid ninety’s at Cerebral Palsy Associations of NYS (CPA of NYS).
During her tenure at CPA of NYS, Nakia attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services as well as her Master’s in Public Administration. After seven (7) years of progressive employment, she transitioned out of the organization and began her twenty-one-year career in the Child Welfare system. During her twenty-one years working in the child welfare system, Nakia acquired vast experience in various levels of leadership which led her to attain a certificate in Executive Non-Profit Leadership from NYU’s Silberman School of Social Work.
