Teresa Cirelli joined the Eden II team in 2020 and is currently the Director of Development. She has a bachelor’s degree from Stockton University in Political Science with a minor in Jewish Studies. Teresa began her community outreach career in 2012 within the office of Assemblyman Matthew Titone, serving as the Communications Coordinator and working outside of the office as the Deputy Campaign Manager. In 2014, Teresa began working for On Your Mark as the Director of Development and over the course of six years was able to secure several millions of dollars in additional funding for the organization.
In past years, Teresa has been awarded the Lathrope Voorspuy scholarship, chosen as one of the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation’s (SIEDC) 20 under 40 honorees, selected by the STAR Network as a Staten Island Top Women in Business honoree and a 20 under 40 honoree, and honored by World of Women as a Woman of Distinction.
Teresa is a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional Group’s Leadership Council and previously served as co-chair of the annual Young Professional Group’s Business by the Beach events. She also serves as the President of the board of directors for the Staten Island Business Outreach Center and co-chairs the annual Women Empowerment Event for the organization. Additionally, Teresa is a board member and corresponding secretary for the Lathrope Voorspuy Memorial Scholarship Fund. She was recently elected as a council member for the NYC Dept. of Education Community Education Council (CEC) for District 31.
Outside of work hours, Teresa continues to volunteer her time on several political campaigns with the Democratic Committee of Richmond County and serves on committees with Fire Flag EMS, Pride Center of Staten Island, Soroptimist of Staten Island, Michael’s Happiness, and Bridge Preparatory Charter School.
While Teresa enjoys being active in so many amazing organizations and the Staten Island community, she loves spending time with her husband, John, their daughter, Madison, and their high energy dog, Bailey.
