The school program offers a center-based full day program to 5-21-year-old people with autism/PDD. The goal of the program is to help the person with autism achieve his or her full potential. Programming includes goals in communication academics, social skills, self-help skills, and the promotion of adaptive behavior.

The vocational and secondary school programs for adolescents and young adults focus upon development of vocational skills, independent work habits as well as community integration.

Community outings and experiences are an integral component of the program. Students are provided with specific instruction to promote development of employable skills including domestics, crafts, gardening, assembly and office-related activities.

Students receive intensive speech and language services throughout their school day.

Psychological services are provided as an integral part of the student’s reinforcement and, where needed, behavior management plan.

The Eden II School is a non-public New York State approved day school.
