Dr. Eileen Hopkins is the Deputy Executive Director of Eden II Programs. A graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, she holds a doctorate in neuropsychology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.  

Over more than 35 years, Dr. Hopkins has played a central role in the organization’s growth and mission impact.   Her career has spanned direct care, clinical, program administration, and senior leadership positions, giving her a multifaceted understanding of, and commitment to, high quality services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (and a deep appreciation for the complex work done each day by Eden II’s 700+ dedicated employees).    In her current role, she supports and oversees multiple core functions, including human resources, employee training and development, information technology, and quality assurance, also playing a supportive role in the area of psychological/ behavioral services within our residential programs.  

In addition to her executive leadership position, Dr. Hopkins serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Early Childhood Education/Art Education at Brooklyn College and enjoys presenting both within and beyond Eden II to support the development of current and future leaders in autism services.   She also serves as a board officer for the Staten Island Opportunities Alliance, where she contributes to efforts to strengthen services and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Staten Island.
