Facilities – Staten Island
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
Reporting to the Facilities Director, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator manages the maintenance staff and maintenance functions of the department. This includes creating and implementing scheduled maintenance plans, prioritizing and assigning work orders, ensuring quality of work, and completing maintenance/ repair tasks themselves.
Minimum of 3 years prior management experience in maintenance/construction field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving history, as well as FDNY Certificate of Fitness F-07 (Fire Drill Conductor) and S-95 (Supervision of Fire Alarm and Other Related Systems). Ability to work independently and have excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills. Must have the ability to perform physical labor, both indoors and outdoors, and in all weather conditions and at heights. Basic plumbing, electrical and drywall skills required. Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel. Must be available to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
