Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the agency’s worksites. This includes following scheduled maintenance plans and completing unforeseen repairs, providing the snow/ice removal function for all sites, serving as the primary contact for the agency’s alarm notifications and for outside vendors working at agency sites.
High School diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license with good driving history. Minimum of 5 years prior experience in maintenance/construction field. Ability to perform hard physical labor both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Basic electrical, plumbing, drywall skills. Holds FDNY Certificate of Fitness F-07 (Fire Drill Conductor) and S-95 (Supervision of Fire Alarm and Other Related Systems). Availability to work overtime both before and after regular business hours. Good interpersonal skills.
