Kara Lamendola is the Assistant Director of Development at Eden II Programs, where she has been with the organization for nearly 20 years, supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts across Long Island. She brings two decades of experience working with individuals with autism and their families, having begun her career in 2006 as a Teacher’s Assistant within Eden II’s clinical programs.

Over the years, Kara has held a variety of roles, including coordinating respite programs and field trips, organizing fundraisers, and representing Eden II at community and nonprofit events. She currently serves on the Board of the East Meadow Kiwanis and has volunteered for many years at Camp Northstar, a program she values for its impact on participants.

Kara holds a degree from Adelphi University and is deeply committed to service, advocacy, and expanding opportunities for the individuals and families supported by Eden II Programs.
