Please join us in congratulating Drive for Autism Foundation for receiving the Above and Beyond Award for September. This monthly award is a great way for us to recognize and thank staff, students, volunteers, and the community who go above and beyond for the agency, helping to promote and raise needed funds for the program’s growth.
For many years, the Drive for Autism Foundation’s charitable work has been invaluable to Eden II. Established in 2002 by the Trezza family, Drive for Autism has donated nearly $500,000 to non-profits that serve children on the autism spectrum, and Eden II is grateful to be one of these recipients. The money awarded to Eden II has been used for many purposes, including support for Beach Street, computers for classrooms, and most recently, defibrillators for all of Eden II’s Staten Island locations. On September 15, 2014, Drive for Autism will hold its Annual Golf Outing at the Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough, NJ. With the support of the Golf Outing, Drive for Autism is able to continue to aid Eden II and many other worthy groups. More info on the golf outing can be found here.
We are so very fortunate to have Drive for Autism Foundation as a part of the Eden II family. As a recipient of the Above and Beyond Award, Drive for Autism Foundation will be recognized on a permanent plaque on both Staten Island and Long Island.
