Please join us in congratulating LouAnne Haley for receiving the Above and Beyond Award for August. This monthly award is a great way for us to recognize and thank staff, students, volunteers, and the community who go above and beyond for the agency, helping to promote and raise needed funds for the program’s growth.
LouAnne Haley is a parent member of the Eden II Board of Trustees. In July 2003, LouAnne’s daughter, Kerry, entered the Genesis School. LouAnne is the Long Island Site Selection Committee Chair and was instrumental in helping locate and secure the new Genesis School site at 600 Newbridge Road, East Meadow, New York. She also serves on the Eden II Board of Trustee Finance Committee. Prior to joining the Board of Trustee LouAnne was the president of the Genesis School PTO for three years where she successfully raised money for the teacher retention fund and other projects. When asked what Genesis means to her and her family LouAnne responded “the Genesis School staff and administration always helps us anyway they possibly can, I count on that help and support, and it makes a big difference in my daughter and my family’s quality of life.”
LouAnne would like to thank Michael Giangregorio and Robert Fitzsimmons for all their work, on the Long Island Site Selection Committee.
We are so very fortunate to have LouAnne Haley as a part of the Eden II family. As a recipient of the Above and Beyond Award, LouAnne will be recognized on a permanent plaque on both Staten Island and Long Island.
