Dear Eden II Friends & Families,
I've always known Eden II has the best staff and is surrounded by the best community, and the past few weeks have shown me just how true that is. Our staff, families, and community members have all come together to help support our participants and our agency. From delivering meals to our residences, monetary donations towards our front line campaign, even phone calls to "just check in"-I have an overwhelming amount of gratitude to everyone who has reached out and supported us.
Below are just a few highlights of people going above and beyond for us during these hard times. You'll also find a video from our Little Miracles crew that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
There are a lot of unknowns right now, but I do know one thing for sure: we'll get through all of this together.

"Fare It Forward" to Benefit Eden II's Front Line Workers |

With many making the switch to working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic, the creators behind #FareItForward came up with the idea of "donating your fare" to those in need. To date, they've raised over $13,000 to help families and individuals living in Brooklyn and Staten Island. We are pleased to announce that donations raised from Fare It Forward from Wednesday, April 22-Friday, April, April 24 th , will benefit our front line campaign. We miss the smiles, laughter, high-fives, and the hugs & kisses from our friends each day…Our staff have come together, with hearts full of love, to share some hope and bring smiles to our students and their families. This was made with so much love… after all, we are all in this together!

Hearing about the hard work being exemplified by our front line staff, Lauren Grimaldi and her coordinator team at Little Miracles purchased a gift card to Bario's towards meals for our residential workers.
Lauren, Director of Little Miracles Preschool and SEIT-SETSS, shared, "We wanted to give back to our own, and share a little token of appreciation and thanks for the continued dedication of Eden II's essential staff members. It just goes to show what amazing staff we have working at Eden II, and the lengths we all travel to ensure that our participants are always cared for." Our residential staff are working around the clock to take care of our participants, and are doing an amazing job! We currently have supplies for all of our locations that need them, but with a surge in demand, we are being proactive and looking to increase our current supply. If you or someone you know have any of the following items available to donate, please contact info@eden2.org to arrange a dropoff.
