Still Connected: An Eden II Programs Update
A Letter From the Associate Executive Director for Long Island Programs
Dear Eden II Friends & Families,

It is hard to believe just a month ago your children were in our buildings and we were all still moving about our day. Now our days have been turned a bit on their sides. The executive staff have been working daily with each of the Directors to ensure communication with all of you and provision of support and services in any way that we are able during this time. In the background we are continuing to work on staffing schedules, supplies and many, many informative meetings and webinars. We will continue to do everything we can to help you and your children.

The staff mobilized incredibly quickly and have been very dedicated to helping your children and continuing to provide learning opportunities in whatever way they can. Their dedication and professionalism has been unwavering during this crisis. Our front line workers have been exceptional, tending to the needs of our participants as well as their own. I am proud and grateful for the staff we work with. We are currently running a campaign to help us support our front line staff. If you would like to help us please click here .

We know that this is a difficult time for your children and for you. I am reaching out to say THANK YOU for being the amazing parents that you are and for always rising to the occasion. You are always finding a way to keep on moving forward and have been so patient with us during these unprecedented times. We also appreciate the thanks that you are providing to the staff who are trying so hard during this difficult time. We are here for you and we hope to continue to hear from you and to be able to enjoy your children, as that is the one thing that keeps us all going you know- their sweet smiling faces! Please do all you can to be safe and well and keep us updated.

Thanks everyone- together we are stronger- Eden II has always been an exceptional place and it is not the building it is the people! So, I thank you for being such an important part of an exceptional team.

Sincerely,

Mary McDonald, Ph.D.
Associate Executive Director for Long Island Programs
