Description:
Ms. Martinez-Boone will discuss the process of future planning for individuals with special needs, with a focus on how and when to apply for Legal Guardianship.
Learning Objectives:
To help parents, caregivers, or any individual responsible for the future needs of an individual with special needs determine when it is necessary to apply for Guardianship as well as discuss the step-by-step process of obtaining same.
Target Audience:
Parents or caregivers of an individual with special needs as well as Care Managers, Social Workers or any individual who may be deemed responsible for the future needs of an individual with disabilities.
